6 week old, how often and how many oz is your lo feeding

well as the title says really just wondered how much and how often your 6 week old is feeding.

my son is feeding 3 hourly and takes 4-5 oz each time day and night. just wondered if this was rather alot and wot other los take?

My little girl is 7 weeks today and she takes between 5-6 oz every 3 hours or so in the day and every 4-6 hours over night. As long as he's not spitting much up after his feeds than it should be fine!

This makes me feel a lot better as my LO is 7 weeks tomorrow and is on 5-6oz during the day about every 3 hours and at night about 4-5oz every 4-6 hours and i thought he was really greedy!

my lo was exactly the same at 6 weeks...sounds like you're doing great.

My LO is 7 weeks corrected age and is taking 3-4oz every 3 hours. I think that is quite normal. In a growth spurt she takes 3-4 oz every 2 hours. She has 1 feed during the night but only takes 2 ozs, she'd rather sleep than eat.

my LO is 5 weeks old altho he was 5 weeks early, hes taking 3 oz every 4 hours and sleeps 6 hours at night, hes gaining weight rapidly so i must be doing something right lol

My six week old takes 4-5 oz 3 hourly during the day and about 3-4 oz 3 hourly overnight x

my lo at 6 weeks was taking 5oz every 2 hrs!!!! but now at 8 weeks takes 6oz every 4 hours

Carter is just over two weeks and he already takes 4 oz the doctor said he is eating too much but im not gonna starve the kid if hes hungry so too bad for her lol
