Megan took bottles better than Caitlin or should I say the amount of milk she had then all of a sudden it became a constant battle!

Tried Avent teat 2 teat 3 & vari (the varis are bloody awful), Dr Browns & to my horror I gave in on Tommeee CTN but nope back on Avent and every feed seems a battle 2-5ozs a bottle 4 times a day.

She is weaning but that seems a struggle by the time she gets to her bottle sometimes shes kicked up so much shes asleep then its closer to her next bottle. Should say give her the chance she favours foods on a spoon!

I read 7 months at 3 bottles a day so Im wondering what you girls are doing/did when LO was this age and what the menu planner is from morning to bedtime.

Brooke still had 4 bottles a day at 7 months but she is/was a big milk drinker, she's still on 3 a day now.

Is Megan having 3 or are you looking to drop it to 3?

Brooke had the same at 7 months as she does now pretty much, just less of it, ours went like this back then

7am - 9oz
10am - square or 2 of toast and baby cereal
12.30pm - little sandwiches, crackers, carrot stick crisp things, yoghurt, or fruit
2pm - 5oz
4pm - dinner, purree'd veg & meat, and yoghurt
6.45pm - 9oz

Drop to 3 hoping she'll have more on them.

What time did she go to bed? The gap between last bottle and bedtime?

x

She will either fall asleep on the bottle *tut tut* or be in bed within 20 minutes really, i try to hold off on that bedtime one for as long as possible just so it will keep her fuller for longer during the night iykiwm

But now she will sometimes have it up to an hour before she actually goes to sleep :hissy:

Charlotte is 8mth she has never been fussed on bottles and is a really lazy feeder when she does. She doesnt eat much at all but is starting to up her foods and finish bottles since starting weaning at 6.5 mths.

0900 - porridge and 2-4oz milk
1300 - half a baby jar 4oz milk and sandwich
1700 - Pureed veg/pasta
1800 - 4-6oz

I give her snacks throughout the day like fruit, cucumber, rice crackers etc. x
