8 month old lost appetite for solids

Hey everyone...my 8 month old has been fussing for about 3 or so weeks when ever I try to feed hi solids. He will take a few spoonfuls and that's it or some times full on refuses food. Prior to this, he was enthousiastic for eating. Is this a normal phase???

Teething always made my babies refuse the spoon.. could baby be teething?

Yes, really normal. They all go through these phases from time to time. Particularly at that age, I would move to offering finger foods now and letting him feed himself. That way he has control over what he's doing and it's less you trying to force it and him refusing and more a positive thing where he can explore new things if he wants to. Also, that opens the door to trying lots of new things which might spark his interest again. In the meantime, just keep offering lots of variety, but not pushing it or making a big deal if he doesn't eat anything. Eat a meal with him, ideally the same foods. And then give him plenty of milk later to fill him up. He'll come around again.

I agree with both answers, he either wants more control, or is teething, or both.
