a couple of IVF questions

I'm not ltttc yet but have just suffered my second mc and so am considering my options ..

I wondered if ivf would be a good route for us but i dont know much about it yet and have a couple of questions and thought where better to ask them!

- do they choose egg & sperm that has no chromosomal abnormalities (if no, can you request this presumably at extra cost)
- how many fertilised eggs will they put in
- how much would it cost me to try this option

Hi. I am sorry to hear of your losses, but to be honest it can be quite common to have 2 mc's sadly you know u can get pregnant and my friend had 3 mc's and then 2 healthy babies, so i would really not be considering IVF at this stage. I have to have it, but really wouldnt if there was a chance of natural conception like there is for you ;-)

In answer to your questions tho, they usually put 2 embies back in and you can pay for genetic testing but honestly, there is no need for that route yet. Just give yourself a little time. There is actually a increased chance of mc with IVF so it is not going to stop that anyway. Best of luck xxx

im sorry about ur miscarriages, have u looked at having your immune system tested??? There has been alot of success on treating the immunes for mc. Usually nhs wont touch u until u have suffered 3 mc but there is a london clinic who can test this for u.

Cause u can fall pregnant but it seems more like mc the issue. Glad to give more info if u like.
