After AF was a day late I got a BFN and then low and behold she came. I know many others feel like that but my circle of friends dont. Most of them aren't interested in babies or settling down yet and the others just so much as get looked at by a man and there pregnant. Its so unfair. We have been trying for nearly 18 months now with 1 m/c. We finally went to the doctors and have been told oh has low motility. Does anyone else have this problem? It's getting to the point where I walk past a pregnant woman in the street and I get a lump in my throat. I spend hours endlessly trailing the internet looking for a solution or leeching on pregnant friends fb's wondering why they are so lucky. I really need someone to talk to. Me and the oh are quite private so I can't speak to friends or family. I am hoping a stranger might help? Please please please.
Much love and luck xxx

I can totally relate. We we diagnosed with secondary infertility, as we already have a 2 year old dd. We have been ttc for 18 months as well. All of our tests so far have come back fine. I am currently on my first clomid cycle.
Every pregnancy announcement is like a punch in the gut

Hey hon - has your GP referred you on to a fertility centre?
If not, then you need to go back and pester til they do. Low motility isn't insurmountable, but you may need a little help

xx good luck

So sorry for what you're going through bethbaa. Its not nice. I remember feeling humiliated that there was a physical reason as to why I couldn't get pregnant.

Mostly when someone announces their first I can be quite happy for them. However, its after a first I start to feel resentment. If you want to chat PM me. xx

 I do! Well 2 strikes against us with low motility and count.

Your next step would be to get referred to a urologist to see what they can do for your DH. Unfortunately, we couldn't go that route because our insurance refused to pay for it. :growlmad: So I'd rather take that $$ and put it towards an IUI or IVF/ICSI.

What was his motility? My DH's is 19% and we have yet to see a :bfp:.

And all your testing is complete? Bloodwork, ultrasound, HSG or lap and dye?

Hello, thank you for all the replys. OH has >25% Motility. We have just been refered and we are waiting for a letter to confirm it. I asked our gp how long it takes, what steps there will be and how long will it take if we have to use clomid or iui and he said he didn't know. I went out with a friend today who has a 4 month old girl and I feel more positive for some reason which is strange! :D Jodi_19 how long did you have to wait? How old were you when you went to get refered? And also Armywife have you had any bfp's even m/c's? I don't know whats to come ahead and it is making me more nervous can anyone explain please?
Thanks again
much love and luck!
xxxxx
