A good 'not soft' bf pillow -

I'm looking for a pillow that actually holds baby closer to my breasts. So needs to be quite firm. I have smaller breasts and find I'm always slouching over to baby and I feel that me never being comfortable added to our journey ending both times.
So I'm hoping this time to get it right from the beginning x

Some people on here might be able to recommend specific types of pillow but I think it might be a case of trying a few in a shop.

An alternative method is to use your own body as the support (laid back breastfeeding). You dont have to be totally lying down, just reclined a bit.

When baby is longer and bigger you'll be able to rest her bum on your legs and she'll be able to reach your breasts without any need for pillows or holding her up at breast level.

I find that laid back breastfeeding is alot more comfortable than using a breastfeeding pillow. My pillow is mainly used as a back support now so I'm glad I didn't spend too much on one
