Hello all,
I've been experiencing loads of braxton hicks for the past few days. Today I noticed some very light spotting along with period like cramps. This is my third baby and I've never experienced bleeding in a pregnancy. I am also 21 weeks along. Should I be worried??

I would get it checked out just to be safe. Better to have peace of mind

I agree I would go get checked out, it could be nothing but it would at least put your mind at rest :)

Yes just get checked out saves you worrying then Hun,
Update us chick xx

This is something you should go straight to the hospital without hesitation or delay

Call your Dr. before you jump the gun and spend 10 hrs in the ER just to get a sonogram. Much of the time, they can't do anything about spotting, despite what may/may not be happening. (I speak from MUCH experience.)

Ask if you should go to the hospital. If they say no, ask for an appointment today so you can have the sonogram in the Dr.'s office with YOUR Dr.

Good luck!

I would go to a hospital or (depending on where you live) an urgent care center (less wait time sometimes).

I agree that there isn't much a hospital can DO, but unless you can get an appointment with your OB in the next day or so, that's what I'd do.

That being said, I've heard from people who did have slight spotting in the second trimester, so you certainly could be entirely, Perfectly fine. But we'll be thinking of you.

Keep us posted.

Thanks for all replies. I was able to make an appointment with my doctor tomorrow morning. I will keep you all posted after my appointment.

Good luck, I hope it turns out to be nothing major x

Update!!!
Baby is perfectly healthy and the spotting was from an unknown cause. Hopefully that won't be happening again.
Thanks again for all the replies 😀
