A new found hatred for FOB

Little mini rant... nothing special per say...

One of FOB's friends text me just for chit chat, although I find talking to any mutual 'friends' a bit odd. But he inadvertently told me he went out with FOB last night and he didn't say one word at all... not one little jot... about the upcoming birth of his daughter. He is just sooooo excited he doesn't say a word?!?!?!
I just thought... what a git. He complains he can't find a job, manages to upgrade all his photography equipment and goes out with his mates but won't pay a penny towards his daughter. Hasn't bothered to contact me in well over a month now.

Fucking joke... pardon my language. I have a new wave of hatred rolling through me and had to get it off my chest.

I know the feeling! My FOB is exactly the same. Never mentions it to anyone really. What also annoys me is, no one mentions it to him! I'm sorry, but if one of my friends got a girl I knew pregnant as much as it's not my business.. I'd ask about it. I don't understand how all these people can just know he's got a son on the way an no one thinks to ask what the hell he's gonna do about it!

The whole convo with the mutual 'friend' got a tad creepy towards the end. They ended up texting me "i had a soft spot for you"... wtf... wont be texting them in a while.

But on a serious note, it is so frustrating isnt it that it appears our FOB's friends are 'yes men'... will agree with anything they say but know its wrong and voice it when FOB is never around. Just makes me even more determined to make a better life for my LO without FOB.

What an idiot. I've not spoken to my FOB since the beginning of November last year but I'm pretty certain he hasn't talked at all about our baby to anyone - I mean his parents don't even know. Urgh, drives me insane that he seems to have 'forgotten' about his baby.

But basically I know exactly how you feel, it seems we were unlucky enough to pick low lifes for our FOBs. How anyone could not care about their own child is beyond me.

Yep, all these people that slag him off to me yet are fine to his face done me a favour really. Shows how two faced they are. It's amazing how much the whole situation opens your eyes, about lots of people. Not only the jerks we got pregnant by.
