A "Single" Mom to 2.

I am joining, as am a single parent in the truest sense of the word. My OH is now in jail and is facing prison time, so for now I am doing it 100% on my own. This wasn't the plan for our family, and its become extremely hard to accept. I feel like my life, his life and our children's lives are all in someone else's hands. And our happiness as well.

I want support, advice. Somewhere to go that will help when I am feeling down and at my wits end. Between the stress of OH's trial, or soon to be trial, and working full-time and still barely making it.

I hope I find friends in some of you, as I can imagine nobody would know what I am going through better than you single parents!

haven't got any advice at the moment as I'm not sure I'm coping all that well with single parenthood yet but I am always around to listen if you ever want a friendly ear

do you know roughly how long your OH will be away? x

We don't know yet. Probably somewhere between 5 yrs and 10 yrs.

This is a really hard situation, always waiting to see what is going to happen. My only advice is to keep your head high and stay strong for your kids. Remember God will never give you more then you can handle! And if you need someone to talk to I am here for you!

Yes, I try to see what God has planned. It's hard with life in limbo.

Sorry to hear your going through this, i cant imagine how hard it must be for you to be honest! all i can say is take everyday as it comes, you have your family and friends there to support you your not alone either
