Of all the things to be eating me...
My skin looks so crap!! What is going on? When my mc started a month ago I thought okay, I can deal with this its just hormones... but come on I look like a freakin' teenager for crying out loud! I have some lovely break out on my forehead (in the shape of a triangle no less, pretty soon and it'll look like the little dipper:rofl:) and on my cheaks, and on my chin and on my temples. Anyone else had/having this trouble? How long does it go on? I wonder if its worth switching cleansers or moisterizers?
Lots of hugs :hugs:

Hiya hun, No i haven't noticed a difference in my skin since m/c, but i did after having my daughter, i think it is all the hormaones. I would think about changing your skincare, maybe it doesn't suit your skin anymore.

The thing i have noticed that has changed is my body temp. For the last 2 weeks i have been hotter than usual. Has this happened to you?

Hi Hun

I agree with Cherylanne its probably just down to hormones but maybe try a hypoallergenic skincare routine for a while & see if it calms down xx

Mine is all over the place. I've had teenage spots all over again, and my chest is COVERED in tiny little ones. I look like I've got some nasty disease! Sorry I've not got any magic cure, but thought it might help to know you are not alone.
My problem is I keep picking and scratching them all as I am so stressed all the time, which does not help!
xxxx

Hey sweets

I guess it is just your hormones trying to sort themselves out.

I would use something very mild if your skin is breaking out and stick to it for a while.

You know ladies it's a bit of a piss take (excuse my language) But we have to go through all the initial pain and then it still messes with our bodys weeks down the line.

It's just not fair!!!!!
:hissy:

Sorry my little rant

 to you all

Well, I agree about the pissing.. that is. It's just not fair that we have to go through things this way, and then still have after effects. We should be blessed with glowing skin and a rapid matabolism after mc, it seems only fair dontcha think? LOL
Any way, stopped using my Olay 7 effects cleanser the day I posted the question and I've started to clear up finally. I think that even though it served me well before, it's not for me any more. I hate finding new cleansers, I've got such sensitive skin and it always takes me a few tries to get the right one. Arg!
As for temping, I haven't even bothered as I thought I read somewhere that my temps won't be any good until my first AF. I could be wrong on that, but now I'm currious so I'll start temping tomorrow and get the PITA of figuring out my 'new' temps out of the way.
Thanks Niki for letting me know I'm not the only pubeciant adult out there. :) I can't wait to have my skin back... it wasn't perfect but it was predictable.
Take care girls and thanks for all the posts. Hugs

Sorry just realized I'm like the worst speller in the world.

My skin was really bad until I had my first af and then it seems to have settled down loads. It is probs just hormones for you hun and hopefully will settle down soon. Drink plenty of water and don't use too much foundation xxx

I too have loads of tiny little spots on my chest(very attractive), sorry if TMI but my backside is covered in spots too(even more attractive), at least i can hide those ones
I suffer from sensitive skin and with my hormones all over the place since MC my skin has gone mad.
Gotta love being a woman :hissy:

I'm currently going through my 2nd mmc and I too am suffering with spots, face and chest! I think it's probably a combination of hormones being all over the place and stress. Nice to know we're not alone though! x x

Well, I never thought anyone would reply to this thread. I'm just so glad that I'm not alone.
I ended up just drinking tons of water and switching to bar soap, no moisterizer either. This has done the trick pretty much, except for the few stray on my neck and chest. Just thought I'd share.

I tend to break out in spots in the run up to OV(my OV symptoms start about 1wk b4 I OV!!!), just b4 & during visit from :witch: and, also whilst I was pregnant!!!!! It seems like I can't escape from the bliters!!!!! Yep got to love being a woman :rofl:

Me too!

My skin has been awful over the past both when PG and after mc. I have had spots on my face, chest back, bum, thighs and tops of arms...not severe but some have scarred which is frustrating! (Good job the summer weather here is awful else I'd be crying about not being able to wear my summer tops!) I think it is due to all the hormone levels changing. As if we havn't got enough to deal with...my skin is worse now than in my teens! :hissy:

My skin is sensitive and since I reached mid 30's, I've developed rosecea, eczma etc...(great being female!)...I've tried lots of hypoallergenic products, organic, free from...the lot. I have soo many half used bottles, I could set up a market stall.

Products tend to be okay for the first week or so then I start to react.. what I am currently finding helpful is the Redness Solution range from Clinique...not cheap but at least I'm not having to put a bag over my face

Hope you skin settles down soon

:hugs: x

P.S. Water helps but doesn't taste as nice as wine!
