:hissy::hissy: Some one please help me before I go totally insane.

Madison my 2 year old will not leave the cats alone. She chases them round, hits them stamps on them etc.My cats are so loving and never hurt a fly but even now they have got so fed up.Tilly the softest one has lashed out twice today, she caught Madi on the face both times.Madison looks awful.People say she'll soon learn but this is the 3rd time in 2 days Tilly has scratched her so she can't be learning that quick.I've tried time out and the naughty step.I'm that close to finding a new home for Madison :dohh: to the cats lol. Please has anyone got any suggestions?

if she giggles, just be even more firm, with CA I used to get on my knees, hold his hands firmly, look at him direct and say no very firmly and then say hurt, mustnt do that, (he was round 20months when he had his first encounter with a cat that fought back! the none before he jsut sat and ate!)
it was a tip taught to me by a fa and it worked!

Hey love. Sounds like a frustrating situation. What I would do is sit your daughter down next to one of the cats on the sofa or something and calmly explain that when she hurts the cats it makes mummy sad and that the cats don't like being hurt just like she doesn't. Just have her stroke the cats with you and I'm sure, like most children, she'll learn to be gentle :)
And if that fails, sell whichever eats less!
:D
