abit confused ..

i know im always asking such simple Q's but i get confused easily lol
but heres another..

when i went midwife last week and she was listening to the babys heartbeat she goes to me omg your having a contraction..i go huh i cant feel it then she goes a minute later oh and another! and she kept saying im getting them but i mean i couldnt even feel the sllightest twinge of anything!
by contraction did she mean braxton hicks or?

because a few days ago i went to get the baby monitered and they wer telling me again that im having contractions..xx

i had this!
i was strapped up to the monitor for an hour & kept having 'contractions'
didnt realise them though

im guessing that they were braxton hicks not real contractions or i think they'd be more concerned

They are BH definatly, if they were real contractions you would know and they would have let you know.

When I went into hospital at 32 weeks they put the monitor on me and it was picking up contractions - I didn't feel them either!
They did the fFn & stopped labour with the drip thankfully, but I literally only felt period like cramping at the worst :/

Lol some BH can rate 50 on the contraction monitor, atleast mine did and didnt hurt...In labour though they hurt...i mean really hurt (although i had a back to back labour)
They was probs just BH, I had the same once when my MW was measuring bump

When i was in real labour, once my waters were broke i got monitered about 10am was having 2 contractions every 8 minutes when they monitored me and i couldnt feel a thing! If it wasn't for my waters breaking, i wouldn't have known i was in labour until about 6pm this is when they became strong enough to time accurately, when my waters went at 5am!!! The midwife was like so u can't feel that at all? I was like.. no am i supposed to!? She called me superwoman as apparently they were quite high but LOL hardly superwoman when i was in established labour about 8 hrs later at 6cm !! All i'll say is you might not know its the real thing at first but you soon will lol x
