aches and pains? 16 weeks worried

Im 16 weeks 4 days and keep getting shooting pains down below, braxton hicks and horrible aching and sharp pains lower right and left abdomen and round my back... Anyone have this? I've text my midwife but no reply yet xx

I was having some bad cramping and pains a few days ago and was starting to get a little worried, but then the next day they were gone, and my bump was much more noticeable! So in my case, I think it was my uterus stretching and moving farther out from my pubic bone. But if you're concerned, it never hurts to call your doctor/midwife.

Sounds like Braxton Hicks mixed with some round ligament pain!

I've been getting that from 10/11 weeks and still do now! I was told it's likely stretching pains x
