Acupressure?

ive just been reading an article on acupressure to bring on labour.. apparently there are some pressure points in your hands and ankles that supposedly help to induce labour.. i was just wondering if anyone knew more about it or had tried it / knew anyone who had?

i found the bit saying Evidence has shown that stimulating specific acupressure points brings on labor in 93 per cent of women within 48 hours. to interesting to look past! lol

i read this recently aswell..was actually looking for a way to ease toothache and read something that said to massage the area between your thumb and index finger...i was pretty desparate to make the pain go away at the time so was not impressed when it said that pregnant women shouldnt do this as it can cause contractions!

aww i hope you found a cure for your toothache!

the only problem with the site i put above, is its one of those "we want to sell you something" type sites.. grrr surely the info in it has some truth though? im having a little trouble finding anywhere that tells you more 'medical info'

There is a youtube video too on how to do it..I had my hubby try it yesterday on a couple of points, but, as with most things, unless you're ready, it wont work..So, who knows!
