I cant seem to find any good ones this year.. This is where I once again miss woolies cuz they had a really good selection. Everywhere I look I see the same ones. I have only really seen winnie the pooh and in the night garden ones for girls. My daughter would rather have lazy town or charlie and lola or something. Any ideas where I could try? I have looked in the usual places like ASDA/TESCO etc.

 I'm going to get myself a name here as the poundland freak but they had quite a few in ours, a big-ish selection anyway and cheaper than the supermarkets. I bought my 2's back in September 2 for £3 in Tesco, wish I'd waited, every £1 helps lol!

Have you seen the Playmobil calendars?
They are about $20 CA here, but they can be used year after year and are really fun. That could be an option if you aren't too excited about what you're seeing right now?

Thortons for me! Very yummy .. otherwise id say wellworths as its exactly like woolworths here but dont have that store anywhere else

Yep, Poundland for me too. Same as all the ones in supermarkets :)

this is weird cos I was going to make a thread about this yesterday!

You would think that becuase nearly every child in the UK has one that it would be big business ey!

Daisy got an in the night garden one, and a pooh bear one that has extra sweets and treats in it.
No idea where to find good ones though, sorry!

I like thornton one's but my dad got the kinnerton chocolate one's for my 2....lets just say i had one last year and the choclate was nasty...no offence to anyone that likes it:)

Thanks everyone. Never thought to try the pound shops. I might get myself a thorntons one :)

When I was a kid we didnt have chocs in. They were traditional.. a nice old fashioned christmas tree or santa.. just pictures inside. lol I sound ancient (Im 29 hehe). I actually saw some of those in birthdays the other day and think they are much better. Dont think my LO would appreciate it if I got her one tho as its all about the chocs for her.. Im lucky if I can get her to stop at one a day so none at all would be tantrum time lol. Thanks again everyone xx

I was gunna say Thorntons, I got last years from there for free because I spent over a certain amount of money, it even had a little bar of chocolate at the bottom which they iced my little sisters name on for her

She loved it! They still have those ones in there, not sure how much they are though!

:hugs:
