Hi ladies....

Anyone else having problems with baby n advent teats? Korben is nearly 3wks old now and ive noticed over the weeks he's making such a noise whilst sucking on these teats  It sounds like he's not latching right onto them and its allowing lots of air in wasnt a problem last few weeks because he's gaining weight n the milks going down but now ive noticed every evening this week he has an upset stomach and finding it harder to get his wind up & settle him.

Not sure if to totally change gis bottles or its just the way he feeds, any advice??

it could be that you need to move up to the next teat size. If your on No.1 teat then there may not be enough milk coming through so your LO is stucking hard and the bottle is making that noise and your LO is getting wind. The No.2 teats have 2 holes instead of 1 so may work better.

Hiya yeah i thought that when he was nearly 2wks so moved to No 2 teats but he's still doing it :haha: not sure if him coming 2wks early has anything to do with him latching on properly or its just how he sucks, but i need to do something because its every night now he has a tummy upset and worried about him getting colic x

It could be that he is going to have colic. We used infacol and gripe water for the colic and it seemed to help. Baby massage is also good for getting the wind out. Its such a shame when they have bad wind. Sorry I can't be of much help

Awww thanks will buy some infacol and try that, got gripe water but says from 1mth old, so will give other a try..... Going to also buy some Asda bottles and try one of those too, thanks sweetie :hugs:
