Advice needed- Baby clothes

I spent a whole day washing a hanging out baby clothes with special soap flakes and took them off the line to find they smell faintly of wood fire smoke!
Its just started getting cold in our area and you cant really smell it when your outside but its definitely there

Should I wash them all over again it took me ages to wash and fold them all up I dont have the energy!

idk, its completely up to you. If it were me, I probably would, but it sounds like you put a lot of effort into the washing and drying? did you do them all by hand? if they go into a regular washing machine, I would definitely do it again.

Personally I'd set them out one day in the fresh air and let them air out.
