Hi I've had a letter from our fs who advises the following:

The results of the hormone tests show normal tsp levels wit raised levels of amh at 45.6 in keeping with her pco?? Confused what does this mean ?

The left ovary was was slightly posterior but can be brought down with abdominal pressure and is accessible for oocyte recovery?

Thanks ladies

I got this table down loaded from a reliable web site.. and here it goes for your easy reference. Please remember to use correct measuring units when you read the chart.
oocyte recovery simple means retrieval of eggs, not eggs actually, the folliciles which contain eggs. It sounds good that there is no trouble in approaching your overis to collect eggs. Be happy…

Ovarian Fertility Potential
pmol/L ng/mL

Optimal Fertility 28.6 - 48.5 4.0 - 6.8
Satisfactory Fertility 15.7 - 28.6 2.2 - 4.0
Low Fertility 2.2 - 15.7 0.3 - 2.2
Very Low / undetectable 0.0 - 2.2 0.0 - 0.3
High Level > 48.5 > 6.8

tsp i'm not sure, is it a typos and you mean tsh? which is thyroid?

your amh levels are fine (high even) and are what your Dr expected as you have polycystic ovaries (more than 12 follicles on each ovary) PCO is not to be confused with PCOS, which your Dr hasn't said you have. This is good news for IVF generally as you should be easy to stimulate and get plenty of eggs (nothings set in stone of course)

Your left ovary visually was hard to find on ultrasound possibly but can be accessed by pressing on your belly and so they think there'll be no problems at ivf retrieval. again good news.

is there anything else that isn't clear? :)

Thank ou so much for that ou have put my mind at rest! I was told. Had pcos and then the letter said pco I have all the hair but I'm not really overweight my BMi is 25

Sorry yes it was a typo it was tsh!

I'm down regging with synarel at the moment, how do I no its doing what it's meant too! I was also worried my high amh may indicate poor egg quality due to my pcos x
