Hi ladies, I'm after some advice.

I recently had a baby 17th April via c section and my son was stillborn at 32 weeks x he was my second c section I have a 3 year old daughter. Here is the thing I found out this morning I'm pregnant x this is a massive shock as im still grieving for my son and I'm just scared and to top it off being pregnant so soon I am worried about my scaring. Has anyone here fell pregnant so quickly after previous c sections x

Sorry to ramble and I know this is an amazing thing I'm just so worried about it and was just hoping for some advice xx

I'm so sorry for your loss :hugs:

I have read a few stories on here about women getting pregnant shortly after having a section. It's not recommended to get pregnant so soon but by now your scar will have healed. So don't worry about it opening or anything like that!! Might just take a while for your muscles ect to go back to normal once your baby is born. Worth having a chat with your doctor about it though.

And congratulations on your pregnancy. Xxx

Oh and don't worry about the third scar. My mum has had 3 sections and her scar is fine, they really tidied it up 3rd time.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your son, big floaty kisses xx
I fell pregnant 3 months after my EMCS, there is a year and 5 days between my pair and I had no additional complications x

Thanks for your responses ladies x I'm just in so much shock x after having joshua I thought never agsin as the pain was unbearable losing him x but then a few weeks ago I said to my hubby I hope we are strong enough to try again one day x just never imagined it happenning now x we are at the hospital Friday and I'll tell them then x just scared thinking they will tell me I can't go ahead as I haven't healed or something x

Sorry to ramble, jusy feel like I have no one to talk to as we aren't ready to tell people yet with it being so early xxx

I remember going to the doc when I found out I was pregnant, I was only 4 month after my EMCS and I honestly thought they would tell me all these risks, or worst case, tell me something I didn't want to hear but the doctor was honestly completely confused as to why I came to her and told me not to worry at all, I would perhaps be told to watch out for additional pains around my scar etc but it really wasn't a big deal, it happened to plenty of women, I wasn't the first and I wouldn't be the last to get pregnant so quickly!
The only issue was if I wanted a VBAC - my consultant was very good and said she would support me but it would be in a more controlled environment with a theatre team on standby and she gave me a 60% VBAC chance but I was planning a section anyway (my daughter had to be EMCS as she had a large neck goitre due to her congenital hypothyroidism) and my son had a 1 in 4 chance of having it too so I was more than happy to schedule a CS. Turns out my son was 2 weeks early so it was classed as an EMCS anyway!
You will be healed, so please please don't worry about that and you are absolutely strong enough :hugs:

Thank you so much for your supportive response x you've really made me feel better xx guess no matter when I fell pregnant again it would always be
hard after joshua xx fingers crossed for Friday x thank you again xx
