So DH and I have decided to pretty much go full blown TTC What advice/do's and don'ts. I currently bbt vaginally. OPKS stress me out so I don't use those. As far as health I'm overweight(yes I need to get healthy) and he's a smoker(yes he needs to quit). Neither of us have done fertility testing. I take a multivitamin and he can't take vitamins. I am aiming for the SMEP method. Any advice, do's and don'ts are welcomed :)

Anyone? Any and all advice greatly appreciated. You don't have to vote just share your story :)

If you post this in first trimester board you might get more answers to what helped them :) to be honest, what has helped dh and I has been to relax and enjoy each other. We do bd a lot.. I'd say it's closer to every day (although I know we missed days here and there) until I ovulate and then it slowed down some. I didn't use opk or temp or anything as I know it would stress me out. But that's a personal thing and I could usually tell when I was going to ovulate based on cm and cervical position. I also took prenatals when ttc. Hope this helps some. Good luck to you! I hope you get your miracle soon :hugs:

in the very first month that we "had" to bd it was so awkward that it stressed us out and made it weird lol. We learned to just relax and act normal. BUT sometimes you just have to spice it up a bit to make it non clinical. Change to a different room in the house (especially if you only do it in the bedroom), fulfill one of his fantasies (if he has expressed any). I no longer tell him we "have" to do anything. He knows we are trying and so no need to put more pressure on him performing and finishing. lol
I am using opk's this month but I didn't last month and I regret that. Due to outside stress we didn't bd as often as we should have and I have no idea what day I actually ovulated. Which sucks because last month was the first time I O'd, ever. So this month I am checking everything I can. Then I plan on BD'ing every day as much as possible as soon as AF is gone.
Good luck! and Baby Dust to you!!
