We're looking for holiday for next year.
We want 2 weeks All Inclusive, 2 adults 2 children and a baby.
We want Sun!! We like to be able to have a walk into nearby towns that have night life, bars, restaurants etc.
We've thought about Dominican republic, Greece, Cyprus so has any one been anywhere that matches are "want list" ?
Any reccommendations xx

Lol, you just came back and wanting to go already hehe. No idea, we don't do sun, hubby and kids burn too easily in Scotland lol.

Did you get the pram fixed?

We looked at Cyprus but for some reason they seem very fond of night flights?? Although I guess that may depend where you're flying from, our airport is Manchester. That really put us off there as our LO gets grumpy but u may have an easygoing LO ha ha.

We haven't been yet but booked for next June to go to puerto del Carmen I think it's called, in lanzarote. 10 nights all inclusive, fab weather, close to the centre. It was pretty reasonable only £1100 for us and the LO.

I am manchester too! I noticed a lot of flights to Cyprus were rubbish and with 3 kids I need decent flights!!
We've just got back from 14 nights in Lanzarote. All Inclusive in Costa Teguise which was £2500 for 5 of us! Sounds a lot but worth it xx

Oh so I'm guessing you don't want to go back so soon! How was it I'm reallly excited haven't really had a holiday since LO was born he'll be 18 months when we go.

Awww fabulous!!! :happydance:
I think we'll go back next october for a week, but want somewhere different for the summer hol! I love Lanzarote. The breeze is fab for the kiddies so they dont get too hot. My 3 had a great time x

I live in Florida and love it. There's plenty to do in Central Florida and you can get some of the condos around here fairly cheap. I'm not sure of any all inclusives right here, but I think there are some Sandals resorts on the beach. I would recommend coming November-February (maybe March or so) as the temperature is wonderful then. It is very hot in the summer (though that is the "peak season" I have no reason why).

£2500 is really cheap for 5 people lol! My favourite place ever isn't all inclusive (though you can upgrade to all inclusive when you get there for 30 euro pp per day). So its full board plus (all meals and drinks with meals). The place is called LykiaWorld Olu Deniz in Turkey. Honestly it is AMAZING but they tend to only have night flights coming back (though I came back with a 1 YO and it was fine for me) xx

Will be watching this thread!! NEED a family holiday and sunshine! doubt will be able to afford it again though :(

Dominican Republic wouldn't work if you want out and about. We've been a few times and although Pueto Plata on the north coast is like a self contained town there's only one shopping area. Saying that alot of the big complexes feel like towns on their own, we stayed at hotel in Bavaro a few years ago, upgraded flights, 4.5* and it was cheaper than going to Greece or Cyprus for the same 2 weeks in lower grade accommodation!

We've been to Cyprus, staying just outside Protaros so quiet enough but only a short cheap trip into town or Aiya Nappa. We went at the end of sep so was still hot but the main 18-30 crowd had gone and it was a lovely resort. Amazing beaches, especially Nissi and brilliant watermark! Plenty of restaurants, things to do, really geared towards families.

Protaros sp in cyprus is lovely, we love it there. We have stayed at the tsokkos beach hotel and its so nice and family friendly and is about 2 minutes from the beach

Salou has plenty to do for the kiddies of all ages, loads of places to go and trips to take. We booked through first choice and went to the calypso hotel. Xx

i second protarus right near fig tree bay loasdsa bars restaurants etc been 4 times now and the locals loved my lo we stayed at Vangelis its ok i feel getting a bit dated but i would stay there again

I've been to Protaras also, it was beautiful and I will definitely go back :) xx

Where did you stay Nic? Looks fab! I'm struggling to find a decent all inclusive hotel

We've done Lanzerote, Crete, Kos, Tenerife and Majorca and would go back to them all.

Thanks Everyone!
This s where we stayed

Definately reccommend it x

We love menorca, thomson do this hotel-

which is lovely and very popular with families. It comes out onto the main street where there are tonnes of bars and resturants, all with bouncey castles etc for kids and also a waterpark and choice of 3 different small coves for swimming/sunbathing.There is a 'square' around which are several different themed bars and a live stage in the middle where they have shows on while there are toys there for the kids to play with.It is all geared towrds families and the people love kids and spoil them rotten. We have been in may, july and sept and july is definitly the best in terms of weather.

The bus runs into the main large city which has a market selling leather bags/shoes and lots of souveniers, also pavement cafes and ice cream shops and a nice little park. There is a harbour there full of places to eat too.

We love it there.
