BHCG- That's the pregnancy hormone, they were checking if you had any in your system.
FSH-That's the follicle stimulating hormone, the one that stimulates your follicles to release eggs.
LH- Lutenizing hormone, the one that surges to tell your body to ovulate.
Prolactin- This is the hormone associated with lactation, which is only produced when you're lactating. I don't quite know why they tested for this at this point.
Progesterone- They were testing to make sure you ovulated. Anything over a 10 here is good. Progesterone is released by the follicles when an egg is released, proving ovulation.
FBC-full blood count, it's the starting point for a lot of medical investigations. It was testing for diseases or any abnormalities.
I don't know what TFTS or OESHIDIOL are. Basically they were just doing the first medical tests to rule out certain issues or to find out if certain issues existed.
Oh- just realized you haven't gotten the bloods drawn yet, this is what they WILL BE testing for, not have, lol.
The next step is to wait for the blood test results, and they'll tell you where to go from there. Depending on whether you're ovulating or not, they might prescribe you clomid or something of that nature. If they find higher levels of testosterone, you may have PCOS. Good luck hun!
