Hi everyone.

I need some advice regarding my social worker. Please no judgmental or harsh comments, I just need advice.

She has been my SW for around 6 weeks but so far has cancelled three home visits and an important meeting. Her communication is also poor, often only giving an hour's notice prior to a cancellation and not informing other meeting members of this. I have ended up telling people instead as I do not want them turning up to a meeting which isn't happening.

My dilemma is, what do I do? I've considered making a complaint but I don't want to put people's backs up. However, the continuous cancellations and lack of communication is very concerning for me. I'm often asked if she has arranged a meeting by other group members simply because she hasn't bothered telling them. I feel like her messenger.

Advice greatly appreciated. :)
