AF and Spotting in cycles after Lap?

Just wondered what peoples experiences were after Laps - were you periods better? if you had premenstrual spotting did this go? did you manage to conceive?

had my lap 6wks ago (they found scar adhesions and mild endo which was removed) and had my first AF the week after the Lap, this was fine and much lighter than before.

my main problem (other than not conceiving) was premenstrual spotting which always happens about a week before AF (only happened since i had my son by c section)

im now onto my second AF after the Lap (month one TTC was not successful) and i have had spotting 6 days before AF and now my AF is heavy and painful again (not as bad but still bad) - i feel really upset as i so hoped the spotting at least would be gone.

does it take a few cycles for things to get better?

any experiences would be appreciated.

Hi rainbow32, I've not had a hsg but regards to spotting before af , I know that endo can cause spotting. Also low progesterone. I had spotting before af and also a short luteal phase of 9 days. I started taking vitamin b complex 100 and the spotting stopped and my luteal phase is now 12 days. Maybe look into it ? Xx
