Hi everyone! I had my son 4 months ago via c section. I am exclusively breastfeeding. I got my first period since birth last month. It was very heavy, heavier than lochia, but no cramps. My cycle was 25 days. My cycle came again yesterday and by last night I was in agony. Horrific cramps and the heating pad, extra strength tylenol and ibuprofen didn't touch them. All I could do was sit there and cry. It literally hurt like labor (before transition). it was constant pain punctuated by horrible cramps.
This morning I called my OB office. They said I could take higher doses of medicine than I was and that helped. But they said this is normal after subsequent babies and should settle down after a couple cycles. Does anyone have experience with this?
