Afraid to test again....

I was supposed to get my monthly gift last saturday so i took a test last friday because i was feeling weird and it was negative. But I have just had 6 days of spotting instead of a real period.... I never just have spotting, i usually have three to four days pretty regular and then one maybe two pf spotting after.... my friend said a doctor would tell me to test again a week after the first time which mean testing today, but I do not want to retest too early. I have spent enough money on tests in the past year!
Does anyone have any suggestions??? should I wait until next week? Only I don't if I can wait that long to know!!!

My OB/Gyn said the tests you buy at the dollar tree are pretty much just as reliable as the more expensive ones- so maybe stock up on a bunch of those whenever you feel test crazy and only use a brand name one when you're already feeling pretty sure or if you get a BFP on a $store one and want to double check? Spotting instead of a period sounds like a good sign though! Fingers crossed for you! Hope you get s BFP!!!

I hear your frustration BH040. I have been there and done that. Thanks for the info pinksprinkles! I will visit the dollar store to find these cheap tests myself...

I tested this morning like my friend suggested and i got a .... not sure if I should test again next week??? I have a little bit of a cold but colds don't normally make me feel like this.... and I have been off for about two weeks, cold just started yesterday or the day before.
