After HSG

Hello ladies,
I had an HSG done last Wednesday on Cd11 I am now Cd17. Everything was clear, it was rather painful. I really didn't know a lot about the procedure, so this Sunday I had a pretty active day and I was exhausted and nauseaus. I had a huge headache and I did end up vomiting. So I started thinking maybe this had something to do with the HSG so I read a little bit and I was shocked by all the positive results following the HSG. I haven't been charting my cycles lately so I have no idea about O. Since Sunday I've been ranging from slightly nauseated to very nauseous, only vomited the one night. I wonder if the HSG could make this sort or effect after five or so days. What are other people's experience with this procedure? I have an appointment in another week with my doctor for a follow up

I have not had an HSG yet BUT I was just researching this last night. There is a slight increase in conception rate after an HSG. One theory is that pushing the dye through your tubes helps clear out any "junk" that may be blocking your tubes thus allowing for a smooth ovulation.

I will be interested to find out what others think as this is my next procedure after my u/s tomorrow.

I agree with 2ducks I have not had a HSG test yet but my dr did mention it so I researched it and found a lot of stories about getting + after the test....for the same reason 2ducks mentioned, it can clear out the 'cobwebs'.
