I'm 38 years old and have not had any kids yet but I'm TTC.
In december 2015 I suffered a miscarriage at 6 weeks. I had just come off Mirena, so I figured I had hormone issues because of the IUD.
Around the end of march early june, I think I ovulated, then on saturday, the 11th, I had what I thought was implantation spotting. I was heartbroken when on sunday I saw red blood. It was enough to fill a pad, but only lasted for about a day, then it turned brown again. I figured it was my period.
I started feeling tender breasts, fatigue and some nausea, which is rare, so I tested just in case, and on 18 and 19 june I got a very faint BFP. Then I tested with a different brand a day later and got a BFN.
I don't feel the breast tenderness anymore, but I also haven't gotten a real period.
My period was due on 14 june. It's been 6 months since I came off the Mirena, so I don't know that I still have those hormone issues. I am praying so much that I am pregnant, I've never wanted anything more than to have this baby.
It's silly to ask here if I could be pregnant, for only time will tell. Some say that there are women who have to wait two weeks after their period was due for their HCG levels to come up on an HPT.
Nothing left but to wait a few more days to test and see. Has this happened to anyone else?
