Agnus castus? / Vitex ?

Just wondering - agnus castus - is this the same thing as vitex?
and should I be taking it? lol

I have PCOS, I think I took it for a short period of time when ttc #1 but I can't remember now, I fell pregnant with my daughter after 3 rounds of 100mg clomid and fell pregnant naturally on a "break" (ntnp?) between FS specialists. My periods have been much better since having her, before I started treatment I could go months without AF, now I have an average cycle of something like 40 days (have been as short as 23 as long as about 70) but still an improvement. I took clomid for 4 months last year and didn't fall pg (I took it as I had it left over from ttc DD)

I'm seeing FS on 26th of June, I'm just trying to be as prepared and healthy as possible. I've just had hycosy done which was fine luckily.
I'm doing slimming world and have lost 10lbs in 3 weeks, I have 6lbs to lose to get my BMI to 25. so I'm hoping this will help.

if I did take agnus castus do I have to take it on certain days or anything?
I've just started drinking spearmint tea too...

is there anything else I should be doing? x

Hi! Yes angus castus is the same as
Vitex.
I take it every day during my cycle, but some people take it and then take a break during Af.
How are you tracking ovulation? Opks? bbT?

I was using OPKs, have had to take a break for the hycosy but will start doing them again in a few days.
I haven't been doing BBT this time around, I did last time (ttc #1) but I found it a bit subjective, I don't always wake up at the same time every day now, and I'm a bit rubbish at remembering to do things like that everyday lol - I could give it a go though.
