Hi everyone,
I have read that Agnus castus is good for regulating cycles and also has clomid like effects and balances hormones. Does anyone know how much we are supposed to take?

Also I have regular cycles, would it be a good idea to take some in that case?

Ok another question, what about baby or low strength aspirin. Has anyone tried that? Also what strength are these aspirins?

sorry for the rambling post, but would really appreciate any feedback.

Hi ,i am taking ac,one pill a a day to regulate and stimulate ovulation since i have irregular cycles,i think you would be best to take it till u ovulate and not after that,so i have read.i havent tried aspirin so cant comment on that.xx

Hi Bigfoot,

I tried agnes castus last year for irregular cycles and it diddley squat for me. I didn't know then that I had PCOS so it definitely did not have a clomid like effect for me. Then again, clomid didn't work for me either.

Sorry to be so negative but I haven't found anything that works to balance hormones yet.

Have you been diagnosed with anything?

Its is a very strong herb, and should be used very carefully as it can cause as many issues as it can solve.
I would consult a herbalist or homeopath before jumping in.

Used correctly I have heard really good things though

Thanks everyone!
Mrs R, I have not been diagnosed with anything. However my DH has low sperm count.

As it is the natural form of Clomid it's best to get medical advice before taking. It's important not to take it with any other fertility medication like Clomid as it can work against eachother and have no affect.

I take it, but I'm not longer on Clomid anymore either. It's important to stop if you think you might be pregnant too.

Hi Bigfoot,
I took Agnus Cactus for 2 months and it didn't help my cycles at all, i have been diagnosed with PCOS and mild endometriosis so perhaps that's why it didn't help. If your DH has a low sperm count, acupuncture is meant to very good.
Best of luck xx
