All feels a bit weird

Hello all

My first post - I am not sure whether I dare admit whether we are actually TTC (all too scary!) and I am not going hell for leather on tracking EWCM/temps and stuff, but I guess we are not making great attempts at preventing it either for the last month or so. WHich I guess makes me an NTNP'er! It's good to see other ladies in the same position.

I never thought I wanted kids until about 6 months ago, so this is all rather surreal for me!

Hey welcome to NTNP, im the same i havent tried stoping it but temping and charting all seems so confusing so taking a more relaxed way. xx

Hi hun, welcome. Im temping and doing OV tests on doctors orders as after 14 years they have finally decided that they sould really try and help me work out if i do have a cycle pattern or if after having no2 i could be steralised even though im only 25.

We have been TTC through NTNP for 6 weeks roughly.

Hello everyone! :wave:

I am considering joining NTNP. Bit of a scary step though - at the moment I am abstaining - lol! (poor DH) - following coil removal a week ago.

Waiting for another couple of months for career reasons sounds good but then I think why am I waiting for someone so important? (Im 28, married, with a career and mortgage, and the PIL are falling over themselves for me to have a baby - as soon as I turn down a drink they will be onto me!) Eek!

I know that feeling!
My sister has been nagging us for 2 years now, my nan since i met my OH (4.5 years!), my mum for about 6 months and last night at my OH's birthday meal, his parents said they 'wouldnt mind being grandparents'!
I have to keep reminding myself not to say anything cause my OH and I have decided and started to NTNP but not to tell anyone!
It's a nice secret but i just want to say shhhh were trying to all the naggers! lol!

Glad to hear I'm not the only one in this boat!

I also always said I wasn't sure if I wanted kids, but in the past few months my biological clock must have clicked in or something, thus DH and I are ntnp.

I swear, if my parents or inlaws had it their way I'd have a pile of kids right now, though! I'm also 28, married, career, house, dog (plus new puppy coming this week!) but I just wasn't *ready*. Now I am!

However, we're not telling ANYONE. In fact, I'm still making quite a show about NOT being ready to the family... I'm a bit hardheaded!

Hi ya. We are also ntnp i am 30 with 4, i am not ready to say no more kids yet lmao, i want another 2. I have never charted or done anything apart from checking cm, so im hoping i can do the same again this time, just waiting for af to regulate or not turn up at all now lol.

It's nice to see others are the same! We haven't told anyone we're doing this, partly to take the pressure off us and to avoid the pressure of people asking all the time. If it happens it happens. It will be a nice suprise for all!

My Mum said the other day "well we won't be getting any grandkids out of you will we". I remained tight lipped.......

Lol! It's hard when people make comments and you think 'If only you knew....'!
I just think then whgen i finally tell them they will be so chuffed!
My sister has upped her bargaining to 'If you give me a neice/nephew I'll buy all the baby shoes in matalan!' lmao.
