all flued up :(

bin all flued up since sunday night but last night was the worst my nose is sooooo blocked up alltho will sometimes keep running and my throat feels like its been cut open all my muscles ache too , think i might phone into work sick tomoz cos i can hardly sleep at night cos of it and feel like sh*t, anyone know if ur alowed throat sweets when ur pregnant ? i havnt took anything for it xxxx

Ive had them, I never thought about it really. Ive only had the ones that are like sweets though... Halls Soothers, don't know about strepsils or any of the medicated ones.

I have also been blessed with a stinking cold since Boxing Day.
This is my second cold in 6 months!!
I had the 1st cold when I was about 10 weeks. I called my GP for advice and she said I should take nothing except the occasional Paracetomol.
I shouldn't have Strepsils, Vicks even Tunes apparently!
I found the best thing was drinking loads (even though it meant being in the loo every 10 minutes) and keeping nice and warm.
Hopefully this one is on it way, although I now seem to have a nasty cough.

thanks i keep sneezing every 10 mins i feel like the baby will pop out everytime i sneeze lmao my throat is still hurting so il think il have a cuppa tea xxxx
