My little girl is just 12 months old and has a peanut allergy she also has a red pepper allergy too as we have just horribly found out. She had a bad reaction to a peanut butter sandwich that her 2 year old brother was eating and kindly placed it on her high chair tray when I wasn't looking and one lick broke her out in hives and a high pitch scream! Since then we have had the testes to confirm it but today when I took her brother to nursery I parked the puschair in the door way and there was a women sat 20 feet away (no contact) and lo came out in hives with a huge familiar scream- one look at her face and I knew it was an allergic reaction and to my horror it was the lady 20 feet ssy who had just finished eating some nuts before she entered the building. I am now really scared for my daughter as I didn't realise how servere her allergy is im just so worried how is she going to get through like if she breakers out in hives, swelling or worse!! If someone eats peanuts within 20 feet of her. What she accidentally eat one one day in some food I'm so scared if she can react this bad 20 feet away what it could be if she directly eat it. I never want to let her out of my sight im devastated.
