I will be 22 weeks on Tuesday and although I can feel him all the time, I've noticed that I still only feel him really low. Almost as though he is is sitting on my bladder and using it a punching bag. I haven't felt him any highter and everything says that he is about an inch above my belly button but again, I haven't been able to feel him except for very low.

Anyone else in the same boat??

I am in a way, i feel her kick me like she is kicking down all the time, although i have felt her kick just under my ribcage also, but not very often, mostly just low. It probably just has something to do with the way he is positioned:) no worries, im sure all is fine, and he is still tiny, as he gets bigger you will feel kicks up higher, to the point where he does kick your ribs, and its not the best feeling!

Its quite normal. I felt my baby really low until around 24 weeks I think. I felt her kicks low and even her heartbeat (on the doppler) low. Its only in the past couple of weeks that I have been feeling her higher.

I mostly still feel the baby down low. At 22 weeks your uterus is only about an inch above your navel, so you shouldn't be feeling anything higher yet.

I am a 26 weeks tomorrow and still only feel my baby really, really low. I also think she is laying on my bladder (have the WHOLE time) and I only ever feel her very low, sometimes I literally think she is so low she is going to fall out. Anyhow, had a regular OB appt today and the Dr said its fine, its just where she likes to be :)

Thanks W8ing I know what you mean, I feel like he is sitting (and kicking!) my bladder!! :haha: Glad to know, I'm not alone!! :D

Im only felt mine low until last night, when I felt her at belly button high and above. I didnt think I would feel her high up, as I have a high anterior placenta

that's totally normal as your baby is moving about and doing somersaults :) baby's head can be where your belly button is and the legs by the cervix :)

My bladder is a punch bag too, down low is where I feel the main bulk of the feelings... at my scan last week she was head down and the "kicks" I feel are actually punches!

my little buba has been lying the same position since 12 weeks i believe. still really low at our 20 week scan buba was very awkard and didnt move after nearly 3 hours of trying to have a good look.. lying transverse feet tucked down, her face buried right away,in an arch position
i always feels kicks down loooowww right into my bladder lately and lots more rolling and wriggling. think ill be glad when she shifts up a bit..x

My 20 week scan was a nightmare in terms of baby being in an awkward position... she was cephalic, down low, but all crunched up in a ball down near my cervix and NOTHING we tried would make her move.... one arm was firmly across her chest too blocking a clear view of her heart, her other arm was behind her head so they couldn't see it properly for AGES to check the bones and extremities, they couldn't even get all her measurements in the end so I had to book another appt!! That scan certainly opened my eyes to reasons why we feel the movement in all sorts of strange places LOL

im the same, only feeling baby really low. at my scan, the babys head was just below my bellybutton, and he/she was in breech position, so i guess they are still in the same position which is why the kicks are so low. may be the same for you? x

Im 25 weeks tomoro and have only felt the odd kick near my belly button and I mean the odd one, the rest are all down low,I had an app with the midwife yesterday and when she asked if I was feeling baby move a lot, and I said yes but they stil feel down low and when I asked if this was normal she said yes it can be and it all depends how its lying/sitting etc iv a consultant app on thursday with a scan so i guess will see what lil one is upto then lol
