always induced..........want a water birth this time.....

I have never gone into labour naturally despite waters going and for this my final baby!! I would really like a water birth...........always had to be induced.....drip x2 and pessary last time which was much better......but still couldn't have pool think this was as my hind waters had gone.........anyone had similar???

i am sorry, i have not had similar, but i do have one suggestion that might help - check with your doctor/midwife about taking red raspberry leaf tea during pregnancy - it is a uterine toner.

now it could be coincidence, but all the women in my family have had their membranes rupture before labor. i took RLT and my waters didn't go until just before the ring of fire.

My first baby was induced due to waters breaking. This will be my second baby (and likely my last), so I too am hoping for a different experience this time. I hated the drip. I didn't cope well and ended up having an epidural-something I really hope to avoid this time. I really want an active birth or water birth. I just don't want to be lying on my back immobile! Maybe I'll have to give the raspberry leaf tea a go this time! I'll be interested to see any more tips people have!
