Am I being too posessive/jealous over this name?

My husband and I have loosely agreed on Lily, but he really wants Emma. I like the name but I have a problem with it because it's the name of his ex-girlfriend's name, which he got tattoo-ed onto his wedding ring finger when they were together. His mother once described her as the "love of his life". Am I out of line for being against it for this reason?

Nope, I would hate that, IMO ex's names are strictly off limits, especially the tattoo on ring finger kind!!

Emma might well be a nice name but not for YOUR little girl!
You dont want to be thinking of his EX every time you say your little girls name, that would be too creepy!

I'm never jealous, and if I loved a particular name I would forgive a lot.... but this even riled me up! That would be an absolute definite no and shame on your OH for even suggesting it! Definitely stand your ground!
