I seem to get what I think are Braxton Hicks after dinner each night, but I'm not sure.

Basically my bump goes rock hard and feels tight and uncomfy, but it lasts for ages, about 30mins.

It happens throughout the day too, and it seems to last for at least 10 mins.

I thought BH's only lasted for about a minute?

Does what I have sound normal to you?

I didnt get BH with my first and havnt had with this one either so cant compare really but if theres no pain im positive its nothing to worry about. It certainly sounds like BH your describing but i never knew they could last that long. Maybe someone else has more advice for you, sorry i cant be more help :)

This happens to me also after I eat. Don't know if it's Braxton's or not either. Uncomfortable tho :(

i think its probably baby moving and reacting to you eating

i think its baby moving after u eat my baby does it aswell, sometimes when i eat its stronger than others, them times i think the baby must of liked what i ate hehe. im not sure ive really had braxton hicks i dont really have a clue what there like i prob have had them just dont know it lol.

Thanks ladies, I thought it would be better to ask here than google!

It feels like it's just gonna burst through my tummy

I guess I could try eating smaller meals...

I had this with my 2nd baby,i asked the midwife if it was BH only to be told that some foods contain loads of iron, in the morning it could be brown bread or certain cereals that cause it & with your dinner it could be your veg that causing it,but the next time you see your midwife ask about it then it gives you peace of mind :)

sorry am not of great help x
