Am I insane?

Hey,

I had a couple of weak bfps..then a fainter one then a bfn at the docs..they took a blood test and the results aren't in yet.

But then arrived about 6 hours after had been at the docs, (10 days late approx) jeez is it the worse one i have ever had..feel like my insides are gonna come clean out.

I had loads of symptms but am now wonderring if it was evap lines and everything else was just in my head. I am so confused and cant stop crying.

Oh crap 'if' i was i had an xray before i knew could that have stopped it before it even started. Just cant think straight I mean we weren't even trying was an accident and we aren't really ready financially etc but we both just realised how much we wanted it..

Sorry is soo long am just so confused, know others have more right to feel like this than i do..arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Hey Jojo,
i can understand how you feel, kinda. I had two BFP's last week after 2 years of TTC, and then starting bleeding heavily today. 6 hours at a&e confirmed i was no longer pregnant. The lady doc suggested that my BFP's earlier were incorrect and that i prob wasn't +ve inthe first place (she had no tact btw). Made me boil inside cos i know what i saw, as did my husband, best friend and sister.

My insides feel pretty much the same as yours, it feels so much worse than 'just a normal period'

I went to my GP earlier and he said that there's no reason why a test should show positive if it isn't, and concluded that conception had happened.

I think that if you've planned it or not, it's still a horrid shock to the system and leaves you feeling completely empty and numb.

You have every right to feel how you do, so don't let yourself feel guilty for feeling what comes naturally.

I hope your physical pain subsides soon, and i hope you work through your feelings of confusion. I have no idea how to do that, as i'm going from confused, to angry and back to numb myself.

Thanks Mrs F thought i was being a complete idiot.

I am sorry that someone else has to go through it too, although it is nice to know that i am not alone at the same time. I am sorry and hope you feel better soon.

My only experience of BFPs and BFNs with docs was when I had an ectopic .... don't let that scare you but its what happened. I also had a 'period' the ectopic was detected by spotting few days after what I thought was a normal the blood tests showed small levels if there is any count in your blood ask them to check that 48 hours later if they do not ask you. Its very important.

Also periods & bleeding are common in pregnancy just frightening situations

So results in today, HCG level was 6 when test was done, they have asked for an urgent repeat. So have done that and now waiting..again. Just want this to be over now have no pregnancy symptoms anymore really just hungry which doesn't mean anything. So thinkin its all done and dusted.

Keep having crampy feelings to my low left side and think am just imagining them y'know. But then i thought i was imagining the pregancy symptoms..bimey what a mess..i am such a hypochondriac.
