My uncle just put this on my dad's page:

Hey Bruv, hope you're well and there is still plenty of room to move around at home despite the ever expanding waistline of your daughter, don't expect there is ever much in the fridge these days though ;0)

It's really hurt me, like proper made me feel like crap. I'm sure it meant to be funny but it's hurt me. Am I making a big deal? x

Im sure he didnt mean to upset you, people always think things like that are funny, never mind your poor hormones.
You should just comment back and say atleast you have an excuse etc haha. And dont worry I think everyone is over sensitive when pregnant xxx

@Kandy: Yeah he knows I'm pregnant, his wife is due 2 weeks after me. I just don't know how to take the comment.

Then surely his wife would be roughly the same size as you, so no doubt he'l get an ear bashing from her

He's just a typical guy thinking he's a funny man. Although your a lot further gone then me, I have the opposite problem, my bump is almost non existant and I'd love a big bump, so just go look at some nice baby clothes and Im sure your soon be over it xxx

He probably just thought people would think it was funny. But I know how you feel! When I was pregnant, comments like that really bothered me. I didn't think they were funny at all!

dont worry he was trying to be funny hun, that sounds like bad older man humour to me... like those bad jokes dads tell dont be upset and if you feel really bad just say please dont mention my change of body as its a soft subject at the moment x

I dont know this persons sence of humour but from someone who dosnt know him that does seem very rude. Then with the wink at the end seems like a joke as he is going through the same with his wife. I woulldnt take it to seriously I would actually answer it "least I have an excuse for an ever expanding waistline"!! well unless he is mega skinny or something.

I wouldn't personally care! But I can understand why you would be hurt, if you're close with him - don't worry about it, he was obviously just joking in the sense that pregnant women are 'eating for two'.
