Am I Pregnant??! :D

Hey everyone, long story cut short, i was on cerazette for 2.5years with no bleed, came off november 2010 ttc#1 with oh (23) and me 20. I had a few periods all over the place really heavy one and then 2 normal ones, i have been feeling REALLY sick the past few days but i can still eat, just feeling really headachey aswell. I came on today but TMI its brown blood and pinky coloured blood that was about midday and its not got heavier since, i dont know if this is implantation blood or an actual period?? :S Its too light and the wrong colour i think.. Any advice would be appreciated thanks !! i hope i am!! xxxx

Thanks babycakes. I had the whole pregnancy symptoms when i came off the pill was horrible, doc sad just body adjusting to coming off the pill. I havent got any tests in at the min im going to get some soon, but my period being light brown/pinky doesnt look like its a proper period. hmm Thanks anyways x

I hope you get your bfp! That sounds too heavy to be implantation bleeding though, IB is very very scarce. I've heard of women bleeding lightly throughout their pregnancy but it's rare. Have you taken a test?

Thanks everyone, no not tested yet, got up this morning and wore a pad to bed, only had a tiny smidge of pinky coloured blood, and nothing today, still feeling sick tho, so confused xx

Can i test straight after if its IB? Im a bit clueless lol! Im not sure, because i was on the pill and then off the pill it messed them up alot, last one i had was in march, i think i missed april completely, but tested in april and i was negative xxxx

Yeah that's what happened to me. I messed them up and we decided to just get off bcp and start trying. You should be able to test a few days after IB. IB only lasts a day or two. Have you tried temping?

Im going to sound so thick, but i tried ovulation tests and we couldnt get to grips with them, we were baby making everyday but it got stressful and we started argueing and stopped having sex everyday and only had it now and again (apparently the sperms strongest if u do it every 3days or so) n we just stopped worrying about so we were NTNP... if that helps! xxxx

I'm sorry to hear about you and your OH arguing! TTC can be very stressful at times. Chances are if you are bleeding for more than a day and have to use tampons/pads you aren't pregnant.. I know you don't want to hear that :/ Maybe you should go get a blood test? If it comes out negative you should try temping.

Fertilityfriend.com is a great website to track ovulation with temping. You take your temperature every morning at the same time before getting up with a basal body thermometer. Your temperature is low from your period until ovulation, then the day after ovulation it will rise and stay up until you start a period. If you have 18 high temps chances are you are pregnant.

Since you couldn't get a grip on OPKs, you could check your cervical mucus everyday. When it becomes the consistency of egg whites it means you are in your fertile stage. It's like a clear, sometimes with some white, stretchy mucus.. kind of like snot to be honest lol.

BTW, I am also 20 OH is almost 22. We've been together for a little over 4 years and are planning to get married sometime in the next year or two. I love to see young TTCers here!

Oh I forgot to mention.. Some women DO have light bleeding throughout their pregnancy, that's why it's important for you to get a blood test to make sure. I hope it works out for you

THANKYOU so much taylor thats helped !! Im gonna probably ring the docs tomorrow if i can see if i can go and see them because i need to sort it out with my periods being irregular aswell! We have just sort of given up but if it happens it happens were both ready Aw i like to see people here the same age! We get judged too much xxx

No problem! I hope you get everything sorted out, and update us asap when you find out!! I know, people can be so judgmental!! OH & I have good paying jobs and he could support a family on his income alone. It'd be a little hard but possible. We are pretty mature for our age & we don't party anymore. We both want nothing more than to have children & spend our life's together. So whynot start when we are ready?! Just because me & you are 20 doesn't mean we shouldn't be able start a family! Aww ur so right hun!! me and my oh have our own house together, privately rented 2 bed And he works, i lost my job cus it was temporary on 4th march but im not even claiming benefits cus i refuse so im still looking for work but we've always said we will both be workin and never rely on benefits!!

Many women wonder how to tell the difference between implantation bleeding and bleeding that could be a sign of something more serious. If you experience light spotting – such as only enough to wear a panty-liner – then it is most likely implantation bleeding. Additionally, if the spotting is dark and not bright red, and the spotting ends quickly, this points to implantation bleeding as well. Keep in mind that this can be completely normal in the first trimester but you should check always check with your doctor whenever bleeding occurs during a pregnancy.

Aw thanks everyone!! I tested today with a cheapie from poundland, solid one line.. Negative Am i testing too early? Im drinking tonight, but had no discharge/blood/old blood today whatsoever. dust to you overthemoon!! xxxx
