Am i Pregnant

Hi Ladies.
I Have just started to try for a baby.
right now i'm going through the 2WW period and that is killing me.
i think i ovaluated between 12 march to 15 march (and me and DH BDed every day).
and right now i'm facing these :
16 march -- Gassy, Dry CM, Backache, some smell in urine
17 march -- backache, little white CM, in morning got a very sharp pain in right ovary which lasted for atleast 20 minutes. it was like the ovulation pain I face every month but more sharp. I was not able to walk even.

Also, after every ovulation i get sore breast. but no soreness noticed till now.

I know its very early to ask but Am i Pregnant

I think you need to wait until you're at least 13-14 dpo and try taking an HPT.

Unfortunately PMS and pregnancy symptoms are very similar in the beginning and it's impossible to determine with any certainty if you're pregnant based on this. I've had months were I though I was pregnant because of promising symptoms but nope, BFN. So yeah, the only way to know for sure is wait until at least 13-14 dpo and try taking a test. Or you could wait until you're late and go by the latest you think you Oed.

But if you're into symptom spotting, then you probably won't notice anything until earliest 6-7 dpo since most women don't implant until they're between 6-10 dpo.

I normally have a +hpt from 9dpo so you could start testing then.

Just Saw somewhere that if you are pregnant then your OPK will be postive.
After that i checked mine and at 5DPO i still got a test line which is not as strong as control line but yes its kinda semi strong. Just a bit faint then control Line.

Any Idea on same??

As I said, most people don't have implantation of the egg until between 6 and 10 dpo so you won't be able to measure HCG until at least 2 days after it happens. Many have a certain level of LH in their systems, even after O has occured and that's most likely what your OPK is picking up now.

I think your best option is to wait until your 13-14 dpo and test with a HPT. If you're a POAS addict, you could try starting testing with FRERs from around 9 dpo and about every 2nd day after that. I think the absolute earliest I've heard of someone getting a BFP on this forum was 8 dpo but it's more likely to happen at 9 dpo or later.

If you find the 2WW hard, find a hobby to distract yourself with until you can start testing. You'll find TTCing very hard and mentally/emotionally exhausting if you end up taking a while to get pregnant and drive yourself nuts with testing and obssessive symptom spotting already before the egg has had time to implant FYI it takes normal, fertile couples up to 1 year to conceive. So you need to be prepared for the long haul by not driving yourself nuts with all that each and every month. DH and I have been trying for 1 year and 5 months (am 3 dpiui after my 3rd IUI) and I would've long gone nuts if I'd been so obssessive. So find something to distract yourself with and wait until you're at absolute minimum 8-9 dpo

In fact, some symptoms of ovulation are practically similar to pregnancy. We can't say for certain that the symptoms you have is pregnancy symptoms. Early pregnancy symptoms can be hard to recognize. While a missed period is often the first sign of pregnancy, there are a whole host of symptoms to look out for such as Bleeding or Spotting known as implantation bleeding, Increased Need to Urinate, Tender or Swollen Breasts, Fatigue, Nausea (Morning Sickness), and Abdominal Bloating. But you have to test it for sure to know if you are pregnant or not.

Hi Ladies,

it has been 6dpo and noticed some more strange things :
Don't know is it a Symptom or not, But i generally drink 2 bottles of water every day at work.
but from last 2 days i'm able to finish only 1/2 of the bottle.I feel thirsty but i don't want to drink.
Same with food, i feel hungry but i don't want to eat.

Also, while walking i can feel some pressure just above my hips in the center.

Any idea on same ??

Ok I give up, you obviously won't listen Pregnancy symptoms don't normally come until you're 4-6 weeks along. And no one can possibly tell you if you're pregnant based on these symptoms! It's never for sure until you've taken a pregnancy test that shows positive.

So relax and stop being so obssessive

Hi Kat,

Its not like i won't listen, i'm really feeling all these things and they are very new to me, like Sore boobs, From last 2 year like a cycle i have sore boobs just after ovulation and now when i'm TTC suddendly no sore boobs after ovulation. (This is my first cycle TTC)
and then backache, i don't get such bad backache, not prior to AF even.
That's why i'm asking you people.
