Am overdue...must decide!! Charlotte or Kitty?!

Hi All, I was due on Sunday bit we still haven't decided on a name for the little wriggler!

We're torn between Charlotte and Kitty at the mo. I have a 'warmer' feeling towards Kitty, as in I get all excited at becoming a mother (or more so at least) when I say it...but wonder whether Charlotte is a more sensible choice for her long term. Would go with Lottie as a nickname.

Charlotte all the way. Kitty is cute for a little girl but as an adult, I'd find it hard to take her seriously.

I would go for Charlotte, but maybe you could call her Kitty as her nickname? Then it will be really sweet and endearing without burdening her with a cutesy name as an adult? Charlotte is lovely! Good luck and hope everything goes well

I think Kitty sounds cute while she is little but when she gets to be an adult I think it may cause her problems being taken seriously.

i think kitty is really cute. cant imagine it as an older womans name but names are constantly changing so you never know what other names they will ocme across in life.
why not wait until shes born and see which one suits her best? she may look like a charlotte she may look like a kitty.
and also as someone else said, instinct is a strong thing so if you get excited using the name kitty then i think its your instinct tellingyou your baby girl is called kitty. xx
