Appreciation of the very few wonderful men in this world.

Has anybody been lucky enough to have a wonderfully supportive OH throughout their pregnancies? Mine has been over the moon since the very minute we found out. He's so ridiculously over protective, checks on the internet before i do something to see if im even 'allowed' haha. He doesn't even like me painting my nails "i dont like the fumes you could breathe in babe!"

Awww. I have an amaing OH! And last night he put the cherry on the cake.
Since I found out I was pregnant with Liam he's been sooo supportive. For the first cople of months he slept in the day and stayed up all night doing he night feeds so I could sleep.
We've been talking about baby no. 2 since Liam was a week old. We wanted to start trying when I learn to drive and Liam is walking. Yesterday I decide driving is going to cost too much money. I have to buy my provisional, £20 a lesson, theory and practical tests, I will have to go for an eye test and buy glasses because I know I need them, then we'd have to buy a car, MOT, TAX, insurance. It seems like a waste of money when I don't go out that much anyway.
Last night he told me he wants to start TTC now. So I'm finishing this pack of pill (6 days left) then I will officially be TTC!!!! :D :D
Liam's going to be a big brother!!

Ah thats amazing!! Congratulations :) :)

I really do need to learn how to drive myself (well so everyone keeps telling me) but it is so much more unnecessary money.

Wonderful news though :) Very happy for you

Thanks.
Where abouts in bedfordshire you from?
If you're in Luton and decide to start lessons try and get Karen as your instructor. I can get you her number. I know a lot of poeple who have used her recently and apperently she's brill.

Afraid not Luton, little bit to far. Live very close to Hitchin though

Oh nevermind. She's cheaper aswell by about £3 a lesson compared to average prices.

My OH is always on hand when I need anything....is giving up smoking for me because I can't stand the smell, holds me when I cry and just need a hug, tells me I look gorgeous when I wake up, runs me baths when I'm feelin stressed, rubs my back when I am having pains...and generally is a top bloke!!

I do love him really :)

my OH has been brilliant since the 20 week scan, I think that's when it became very real for him :) x

My oh helped me quit smoking, and is trying to do so himself, but never smokes around me, Always helps me get to sleep by tickling my back. hes not into looking anything up on the internet about pregnancy, hes always playing texas hold em poker but he had read parts of my pregnancy books and makes sure i take my folic acid everyday, as im so forgetful. And drives me to tesco when im craving something. He used to be pretty lazy tbf :) xxx

My husband has been so wonderful throughout this pregnancy. (He's just a great person in general). I was just thinking about posting something like this last night. He helps me clean the dishes, cooks some nights, takes the dog out when I really don't want to, cuddles and loves on me more than I could ever ask. He has such a big heart. He tells me every day that he loves me. He kisses my tummy good bye in the morning when he leaves for work.

With these pregnancy hormones I get so bitchy sometimes and I don't always treat him the best (and for that I'm really sorry because he deserves so much better), but he never loses his cool with me, he's always so sweet about everything.
I love my husband <3

Omg i woke up this morning thinking about starting a thread about my amazing OH! He definitely needs some recognition.
He's quit smoking baccy [he wasn't so amazing whilst going through that] but i'm so proud of him, he'd been smoking for about eight years. He always tells me how gorgeous i am. He wants to talk!!! He is super supportive and protective and has said he will follow me to the ends of the earth [i want to go to college and uni at some point] and he is soooo cute with bump. Last night he was cuddling and kissing my bump and he blows raspberries to bubs and she was kicking him in the face! It was beyond cute and i fell in love with him all over again. He is going to be the best daddy ever [sorry girls :D] I love him lots and lots and can't wait to have a little family with him..xx :cloud9:

Mine is absolutely wonderful. He takes such good care of me. Anything I could ever ask for is mine. When I come home he has me lay down (I work standing up and he doesn't want me on my feet too long because he says it could be bad for LO) and then he rubs my feet. He always makes sure I'm well taken care of. He is my best friend so I always have someone to cry with whenever hormones kick in. He spent like 3-4 days trying to kill a wasp because I was terrified to go into the living room. He makes sure everything I do is okay for me and the baby. He talks to my belly and kisses it. Every time LO moves his hand is right there waiting for the next kick or punch. He brags about us, which really makes you feel wonderful.

My OH has been quite good i have to say :)
He was very supportive threw out my pregnancy and now that Aliyah is here he is still very supportive but as he works i do all the night feeds mainly but if i ever need help with anything he is there and hardly goes out much anymore, just work and home back to us again:Dx

Love it when hubby kisses my belly in the morning and says hello to the baby. He lays in bed at night and reads to the baby. I fell in love with him all over again when he laid with his ear to my belly to try and hear the baby move because he can't feel it yet and the smile on his face when he thought maybe he did. I love that he is secure enough to have shed a tear when we thought we were losing our baby and we saw the heartbeat for the first time and realised everything would be okay. And i love how strong he is for me when i'm scared or feeling crappy.
I love watching him with other peoples kids so i can't wait to see him with our baby i think i might burst with pride! My baby is the luckiest bub to have him as there daddy.

No my baby is the luckiest to him my OH as their daddy! :haha: Joke! We really are lucky girls, dont lets forget that, i know a lot of girls who are now single teen mums because their OHs just couldn't man up and take responsibility..xx

My OH is absolutely amazing. He's a doting daddy to Summer, works 45+ hours per week, is happy to help around the house, take me out for treats etc. He really spoils us rotten xx

My OH is so amazing :cloud9:
Since I found out he has supported my decision to keep Joshua. He's held me when I've cried or gotten worried, reassured me, told me I'm beautiful and how he loved my body during pregnancy and loves it pre-preg (even with nasty stretchies and a few lbs to lose!), he kept my mind focused during labour and held my hand to keep me calm in theathre. When we got back home he got up in the mornings to play with LO and settle him after I fed him so I could rest. He gave me massages and made sure I was well looked after and still does. Oh god, I love him :)

I love my OH right from day one he's been nothing but supportive, he went and got me the test and then was so happy when it was positive. He used to rub my baby belly and talk to her :cloud9: I was worried he wouldn't handle the whole labour situation very well but he was absolutely amazing, he was hugging me, holding my hand and constantly talking to me to keep my mind off it. When she came along from the second she was born he doted on her, gave her her first bottle :cloud9: and he's a proper Daddy and quite over protective of her :haha: He works his bum off for us too and hes desperately trying to find us a bigger house, I really love him!

Hey :)
Yeah my OH has been AMAZING and very supportive. Im 15weeks & 2days now and all my symptoms are still present, and he does everything he can to try & make me more comfortable, and if I cant sleep he refuses too etc, its nice & kinda cute :)
Almost every morning he makes me breakfast while i take half an hour just to get out of bed, lol. If i didnt have him im quite sure i wouldnt make it out the door at all..
Thank goodness for wonderful OH's :)
