Amber alerts on phones can be a good thing!!

This was in my area. I got the amber alert on my cell as did many others last night. This girl was noticed thanks to the amber alerts on phones. I'm glad she was found safe and her godfather really needs to think before leaving her in the car with it running for "3-5 minutes"

What is the amber alert? I don't think we have that here.

It's an alert that is sent out when a child is abducted and believed to be in immediate harm. It has started going out on all smart phones here in the US.

Its something that should really be introduced here i think! I see a lot of missing child ones on Twitter but an amber alert seems much more effective.
