AMH test results

Hi Everone,

Today I received AMH test results that were not good. My result was a very low 1.2, I'm 34. Has anyone received similar results and gone on to have succesful births so I can get tips on any drugs or techniques that might help us conceive.

Hi hun,
I cant help i'm afraid as i have the opposite problem! My level was 41.....eek! Makes IVF a lot more problematic due to the high risk of ohss.
What did the fs tell you when they gave you the results??x

I also have low AMH 2.69 and for this reasons they thought I was not going to respond well to drugs but I got 32 eggs. My doctor says AMH is only a guide as how you might respond to drugs but it can't measure quality of the eggs. All you need is one egg and I have read about people still getting pregnant with low AMH. I like you would be interested in any success stories on here with low AMH.

Ive read of some ladies who have had success with low amh levels - fingers crossed for you

I havent had amh test done as I was advised its not accurate with pcos and always shows as high whether you have good reserves or not so maybe its just an indicator and not set in stone

Hi hun I'm 35, just wanted to let you know that my amh was 1.4 and fsh was 19 and so i was told it was highly unlikely that I would be able to get pregnant naturally, and that ivf would not be an option for me as my brain is already working to the max in order to produce whatever egg(s) I had. Egg donor was the answer for me. I got these results about June time last year. As you can imagine I was devasted and had a couple of sessions with a counsellor then the miracle happened and I got pregnant naturally in November and we weren't trying!
Just goes to show they can give you these results but nothing is set in stone!! good luck hun if it happened to me it can happen to anyone!
