So with my first son Dixon, I ended up being induced but after 24 nothing was happening. Dixon had actaully moved up under my ribs instead of down. Thus leading to the c-section. I had already had an epidural so I was taken right into the room. They did a few things poked around and made sure I couldnt feel anything...But once my dr got to my son I was in the worst pain ever. I was actually yelling out in pain. I could feel all the pushing and pulling. My husband was asked to leave the room because they were going to put me under my blood pressure was so high.
Just seconds later the dr got Dixon out and my blood pressure dropped right away. So they asked for Fred to come back in the room. I could still feel a lot of what the dr was doing. Like stiching me back up. When I was finally wheeled back into my room and the morphine kicked in I was ok.
My thing is I'm worried it will hurt just as bad the second time around. My dr already talk to me about the risk of a vaginal birth after a c-section. I told him I didnt want that, I would like to plan this one out (as long as I don't go early). Planing it out also gives me a chance to have a spinal instead of an epidural. Which I heard is a lot different when it comes to the amount of numbness.
Can anyone give me some insight to things to look into. Or maybe questions to ask my dr? I just don't want to go through the same type of pain.
