A bit of a pointless thread really but chucking away an empty box of breast pads meant a lot today. I bought a box of breast pads with dd1 but as I stopped bf on day three I hardly used any. I shoved them on a shelf in the bedroom and looked at them almost every day for four years thinking I should really throw them out. I couldn't chuck them - they became my motivation to succeed with bf second time around as I felt so guilty I gave up with dd1 :nope:

I used the last two today and chucked the box. Bf is going brilliantly with number 2  and I've made my peace with not bf dd1.

Who thought bf would bring such a sense of achievement :flower:

Yay congrats!! Hopefully you will be able to feed without needing them soon too, bf gets even easier then!! X

Love your post! I agree, it's such a sense of achievement!
