Anaesthetist antenatal appointment

Has anyone had an anaesthetist appointment at an antenatal clinic?? I'm in the uk & have just been sent an appointment for April. Just curious about what to expect??

They just weigh you and have a look at back fat! I had one last time and have already informed the MW that I will not be travelling for an hour to the hospital for this appointment when I carry all my weight in my belly and thighs!

It's just so they can have on your notes if there will be any difficulty when putting in an epidural or spinal block more back fat = more difficulty xx
