Anal pain after delivery???

Hi all,

So its kind of embarrassing but im having sharp anal pain, like really bad pressure when i need to pass wind. It only lasts a few seconds but stop me in my tracks. Its almost feels like the pain you get in your anus during a contraction. my baby girl is 10 days old and its getting worse. I dont think its piles, ive been taking stool softner for constipation tòo.

Hi, I hope you're feeling better now! I've had this since having my 1st LO (he's 4 now so it's been a while), I get it mostly when I have my period (double fun!). I don''t know what it is but other ladies on here have commented about experiencing the same thing so it seems fairly normal.
As you're not long out from having your LO I'd think it might well be bruising and swelling from birth going down, so hopefully it will ease off soon
