Hi everyone,

I'm having what seems to be my 3rd chemical. My period was 6 days late (the problem is I was out of town trying not to stress about it so I didn't test until my period was 4 days late and the test was negative)

then I started spotting and having cramps only when I'd pass huge clots. The clots had grew tissue, which was very strange to see.

I still haven't started a normal period, just the intermittent painful clots.

My doctos suspects another chemical pregnancy but does not have any advice on what to do about it. I do not want this to keep happening.

My question is, what was your doctor done in these situations? They do not want me to take baby asprine, progesterone (days I don't need it) and they do not to immune testing.

any help would be much appreciated. thank you

I'm so sorry, spiritbear. :hugs: Most doctors do not count chemicals as miscarriages, so they don't count towards the "problematic" tally they keep before they start taking measures. They are considered very common; most women just aren't aware of them and think they're simply late or heavy periods.

I would personally get a second opinion from a different doctor. At the very least, another doc might have something helpful to suggest in terms of getting you through this one.

Thank you, I really appreciate your input <3

Yes, that makes sense. It seems to me like something would be wrong and I don't want it to keep happening. I should seek out another doctor's opinion.

thanks again- what a difficult journey this can be.

I understand completely! Some of us just weren't destined to be the "first try" ladies. It'll happen, though. Just hang in there. Fingers crossed that your second opinion visit goes well. :)

You're right. thank you. How do you keep going? I felt like I was moving through this pretty well until recently and now I feel like I'm on the verge of completely falling apart. (and I haven't even been through what you and many other ladies have been through)

I definitely have my breakdown times. Sometimes I'm completely blindsided at the worst moments -- on the long drive home seems to be a common one for me. I just try to remind myself that what is meant to happen will happen when it is meant to, and I keep my eye on the prize. Every day is another day closer towards fulfilling the dream. :)
